Some of the Attendees for 15th July 2019
The Library in collaboration with the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management has organized retooling seminars for post graduate students in the department. The seminars will take place from 15th to 19th July 2019 in the Library. The overall objective of the seminars is to support the students as they carry out their research. The students can attend on any of the days as communicated by the Chair, Dr. Esther Munyiri. This will accelerate the completion of their thesis. The students will be;
1. Introduced to information resources that are available for them and how to access them from outside the campus.
2. Trained on free reference management software that will assist in referencing and citation. The software aids in automatic citing and referencing as well as management of the information sources.

3. Introduced to publishing which is now mandatory. This will involve identifying authentic journals and avoiding predatory/fraudulent journals
