The Kenyatta University Post Modern Library has dedicated the Research & Special Collection Library & Research Commons Section for support to staff and postgraduate students’ research. This sections aims at meeting all the user needs of postgraduate students and staff of Kenyatta University. It is located on the fourth floor of the Library with an extension at fifth floor serving as a research commons.
The services available in the section are:
- Information literacy sessions that involve one on one interaction or group sessions
- Search techniques
- Referencing methods using:
- APA & MLA Referencing Style
- Zotero Reference Management Tool
- Mendeley Reference Manager
- Turn-it-In : Anti-plagiarism Monitor and policy
- Publishing sensitization to staff and post graduate students
- Use of Library catalog (OPAC)
- E-Resources Guide
