Kenyatta University has once again confirmed its prowess by being ranked second position after University of Nairobi by Web of Universities Ranking also known as Webometrics that released the second edition of ranking on 30th July 2019. The ranking results are usually released in January and July of every year. The indicators measured are presence, visibility/impact. transparency and excellence. Third, fourth and fifth positions were taken by Moi University, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and Egerton University in that order. In Africa, Kenyatta University has been ranked position 23 out of more than 1500 African universities that featured in the ranking. As a university of excellence, we aspire to keep improving our online presence so that our ranking can be in tandem with our academic excellence.
