What are the benefits of having an ORCID?

  1. With an ORCID account you can showcase all your publications from a single account regardless of varied name forms that may have been used in the different research works you have authored.
  2. An ORCID is also required when updating your Kenyatta University staff profile.

How do I get an ORCID?                                                                

  1. REGISTER– Get your unique ORCID identifier- https://orcid.org/register
    2. ADD YOUR INFO-Enhance your ORCID record with your professional information and link to your other identifiers (such as Scopus or ResearcherID or LinkedIn).
  2. USE YOUR ORCID ID- Include your ORCID identifier on your Webpage, when you submit publications, apply for grants, and in any research workflow to ensure you get credit for your work.
