Ministry of Health Guidelines on Home Based Isolation and Care for COVID-19 Patients

On 10th June 2020, the Ministry of Health, Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS), Dr. Rashid Aman during the daily COVID -19 briefing at Afya House announced that the government has developed Guidelines on Home Based Isolation and Care for COVID-19 Patients. The guidelines cover aspects such as eligibility, procedures for the care, referral system if patient’s health deteriorates, when to end home based care and isolation.
