CLINICALKEY (Clinical Search Engine)

Kenyatta University has trial access to ClinicalKey which is a scholarly search engine designed to provide clinical scholarly information. The database is a rich information resource on Healthcare with a breadth of multimedia content that includes books, journals, videos, clinics and much more.

During the trial period, all our Library patrons can Register for a free account with their assigned Corporate emails while on campus only. However, one can thereafter login at any remote location and access the contents. Report any access issues to maktaba@ku.ac.ke using your Kenyatta University Corporate email. Training on the use of the database can also be done on request through the email above.

OPEN ACCESS WEEK 2017

The 10th International Open Access Week will be held between October 23-29, 2017. The theme for this year is
Open in order to increase visibility. Among other things, the theme advocates for increased access to knowledge, collaboration facilitation and raising research visibility.

The openness is geared to increase the impact of scholarship, enable equitable participation in research and improve public health. The library is planning activities to celebrate the week and involve all stakeholders in the University. We shall keep you updated.

FRONTIERS OPEN-ACCESS ACADEMIC PUBLISHER

Frontiers is a community-rooted, open-access academic publisher where everybody has equal opportunity to seek, share and generate knowledge. The Publisher is geared towards making peer-review more efficient and transparent in addition to providing impact metrics for articles and researchers.
